Trees for All (2023)
In 2022 The Green Dream Foundation contributed €50,000 to Trees for All. Starting March 17th 2023, Trees for All planted 1,800 trees to renovate a dilapidated orchard in Eastrum, near Dokkum, Friesland.
Qianbei Afforestation Project (2022)
The Green Dream Foundation donated €20,020 to The Green Branch, helping to fund the Qianbei Afforestation Project, which is creating a carbon-sequestering forest in the Guizhou province of China. The project uses native tree species to transform this land, which previously had poor biomass growth, into biodiverse interconnected forests. The project is designed to enhance biodiversity and create alternative livelihoods for people living in the region. The Green Dream Foundation’s donation led to the retiring of 770 Verified Carbon Units (VCUs), equivalent to 770 tonnes of carbon dioxide, on October 25, 2022.
